For the first time ever, Flossmoor Station Restaurant and Brewery is releasing limited edition bottles of its 12-month barrel aged Wooden Hell Private Reserve! For those not lucky enough to try the original, this 9.1% ABV barleywine was brewed in collaboration with former Flossmoor Brewmaster and Wooden Hell founder Matt Van Wyk last year, the first time since 2006. More than 80% of the batch was released during Flossmoor Station's annual Pre-Dark Lord Day in May. The remainder has been aging in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels ever since. |
The Wooden Hell Private Reserve tapping will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:30am, followed by the bottle release on Thursday, December 21 at 11:30am. However, if you want to skip the lines, the Station is having a limited one-day presale on Saturday, December 16 beginning at 10am for Mug Club Members and noon for the public. Each bottle costs $25, and 4 bottles must be purchased to participate in the pre-sale. LIMIT (1) ORDER PER PERSON.
The bottles may be picked up from Thursday, December 21 at 11:30am through Sunday, December 24 at 6pm. Must be 21 or over and present valid I.D. with receipt when picking up bottles.
