YOU ARE RIGHT, IF YOU THINK By Luigi Pirandello Adapted by Charles Waxberg
The circus of current politics adds new acts almost daily, but a persistent cloud hanging over the country is the tunnel-vision view of our own opinions that prevents honest exchange, compromise and growth.
Luigi Pirandellos 1917 comedy, Right You Are, If You Think You Are, offered that the truth of reality is only as strong as the beliefs in our minds.  Theatre9/12s artistic director, Charles Waxberg, adapts the comedy for a modern audience at a time when reality is our opinions, and the other side is the enemy.  You Are Right, If You Think, in its world premiere, tells the story of a suspicious family that moves into a city "some time ago, but not too long" and excites the whole neighborhood to investigate their peculiar lives.

ABOUT THEATRE9/12
After the shock the world experienced on 9/11/01, every creative artist was summoned to fulfill their traditional responsibility:
To heal and lift humanity to understand this new time
To make order of perceived chaos
To reassess complacent values
To heal the past in order to embrace a progressive step forward.
At Theatre9/12, trained and working actors, both union and non-union, continue to develop their talents and skills through workshops and performances. Their efforts climax with productions presented through the Actors Equity Association Members Project Code. Theatre9/12 staff assists these union actors in making these projects come to life.
