Hackney LCC Burns Night 2013
The London Cycling Campaign in Hackney requests the pleasure of your company at its annual Burns Night fundraising dance. Burns Night is always lot of fun -- a great opportunity for LCC members, supporters and other friends to meet each other, have a good time and let off a bit of steam in the dark days of winter. It's also the year's main fundraiser for Hackney LCC, with all profits going to our campaign fund, helping us to do a bigger and better job of promoting cycling in Hackney.
In a break from tradition, this year's event is dance-only, but there'll be a well stocked bar, including draught ale from the Hackney Brewery, and plenty of snacks for sale.
Scottish country dancing will be led by The Muckers, a cracking six-piece ceilidh band who always get the dancefloor leaping. A caller will walk and talk you through the steps of each dance, so absolutely no experience is necessary!
Doors and bar open at 8pm, and the dancing is from 9pm till late.
