Journey to Belonging
Along with the global One Billion Rising Solidarity movement, we stand up and speak out against violence against women and girls and affirm our vision for a world of peace, justice, and love. Belonging is the emotional heart of solidarity. In the midst of intense and violent targeting of our communities, we continue to long for and build a world of beauty and joy where everyone belongs to each other, to family, to the Earth.
Join gina Breedlove, Afia Walking Tree, the Destiny Arts Youth Performance Company, and more for Bay Area Risings 5th community performance ritual. We offer spoken word, drum and dance, deep sound and drum healing, and the Break the Chain group dance for personal and community transformation.
