Winter Materia Medica: Immunity and Circulation

The winter weather can send many of us shivering in our beds. This class will cover herbs for building immunity and increasing circulation, which I find many people need in the coming months to stay warm and healthy. We will discuss recipes, preparation methods and applications of the herbs listed below. We will also get a chance to taste some of them and see them in dried form.

This is a "materia medica" class. Your "materia medica" is the body of plants that you know how to use. The focus in these classes is on learning individual herbs and their intricacies. No prior experience is necessary to attend this class, though you may find it helpful to take "Intro to Herbalism" first if you are a complete beginner. This class will likely only be offered once this year, so try to make it!
