Sean Mason Trio
Sean Mason, who is 19 years old, started playing the piano when he was 13. Growing up in church, he's always had an ear for music, actively involved in choir and theatre in his younger years. After being inspired by recordings of Ray Charles, he decided to teach himself how to play piano, and in 6 years he is actively performing in the North Carolina area in the jazz, classical, gospel, and RnB fields. Along with many other accomplishments, Sean has performed on tour with the Branford Marsalis Quartet with Kurt Elling, and is also the winner of the 2014 Loonis McGlohon competition.
