The Crucible
Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, The Crucible, by Arthur Miller is an ageless tale of fear, greed and power written by one of the greatest American playwrights of all time. When teenage girls are discovered trying to conjure spirits, the 17th century town of Salem explodes with accusations of witchcraft. The vicious trials that follow expose a community paralyzed by terror, religious extremism and greed, and a marriage forever changed.
The Crucible is directed by NCTC's Executive/Artistic Director, Claire Van Cott, Stage Managed by Abby Geremia. The cast includes, Sophia Ancona, Aliana Ayuso, Bridget Corcoran, Ava Ferrigno, Oliver Kochol, Michael Luszczak, Kira Mason, Molly Menner, Josh Metzger, Seann Morgan, Shaila Murdock, Christian O'Keffe, Ryan Padden, Thomas Rattigan, Sarah Schwartz, Bella Singer and Ryan Turf. Performances are January 18-20, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Saturday & Sunday at 2:00pm.
Tickets are $12 for adults ($15 at the door) and $10 for seniors, students and children ($12 at the door). The Crucible is appropriate for children, ages 12 and up. Performances will take place at the NCTC Performing Arts Theatre located at 743 North Mountain Road in Newington. For tickets or more information, please call 860.666.NCTC.
