What Investors Are Looking For and How To Pitch to Them

This is the second workshop in a series that includes an investor forum for Green Businesses in the Washington Metropolitan area. The January workshop is free for incubator companies; $15 for all others.

DESCRIPTION: Bethesda Green presents five workshops designed to prepare tech and non-tech entrepreneurs in sustainable businesses to be investor-ready and an investor forum where jury-selected entrepreneurs will present to investors.

The January 31 workshop will address what investors are looking for in an early stage company and how to make an effective presentation to them. The program panel will include both qualified investors and entrepreneurs who have extensive experience in what it takes to raise funding. The discussion will go beyond the typical business plan outline to address the key points and approaches that will make your business attractive to potential investors.

General networking and light refreshments available at 8 am; program begins at 8:30.
