Nursing Consortium General Membership Meeting
The next meeting of the Nursing Consortium of South Florida will take place at Palm Beach Community College on Friday the 18th of April at noon. Our featured speaker will be noted researcher, author, and educator Carolyn Brown, Ph.D., RN. Much of Dr. Brown's work has been devoted to learning how to create empowering, rather than overpowering, relationships between and among nurses. Dr. Brown's presentation will incorporate the results of a recent Florida Organization of Nurse Executives (FONE) study on turbulent and uncertain work environments where staff nurse perceptions of care quality, job satisfaction, and likelihood of workplace stability were explored.
