Hosted and sponsored by: WA FarmLink/Cascade Harvest Coalition, WSU Extension, WSU Clallam and Jefferson Co. Extension, the North Olympic Peninsula Resource Conservation & Development Council, Vancil Law Offices, PLLC and WSDA/USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program

Please join us for the Farmland Changing Hands Workshop.  Hear from farmers about land agreements and leases.  Learn about innovative farmland transfer and funding options, legalities of leasing and working with a land trust.  Have underutilized farmland?  Looking for farmland?  Meet other landowners and land seekers.  The workshop will also feature a tour of the Dungeness Creamery, a great example of farm succession as well as farmland preservation through a conservation easement with the North Olympic Land Trust (NOLT).

We'll provide  coffee, tea and lunch.  Please wear appropriate footwear for touring the farm and outerwear for weather.  We'll be outside for portions of the afternoon.

Cost is $10 for workshop attendance, lunch, farm tour and networking.

Classroom sessions (9:00am-12:00pm) will be webcast at no charge.  Choose webcast option when registering and we'll send you details closer to the event.
