Acoustic Showcase - Lisa Sanders - Cody Lovaas - Antonia Duggan
Join us for a delightful night of music on Friday night, January 11th.  This Acoustic Showcase will feature:

Lisa Sanders:

Lisa has recorded six full length albums with some of the worlds most respected studio and live musicians, like; drummer/percussionist: Alix Acuna (Diana Ross & everyone in between); guitarist: Doug Pettibone (Lucinda Williams, Tracy Chapman, Marian Faithful); violinist: Jerry Goodman (Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Dixie Dregs); Jimmy Cresbo (Rod Stewart, Aerosmith); bassist & world renowned producer: Josquin des Pres (Gypsy Kings, Jack Johnson, Bernie Taupin).

Lisa's most current CD released was in 2010, titled Raw The Sven Recordings, was written and recorded with multi-award winning San Diego producer Sven Seaholm. She is now in the recording studio with producer Jeff Berkley, in preparation for the upcoming 2011 CD release of Shiver. Lisa has been dubbed "Country Soul".

Cody Lovaas:

Dallas born, San Diego-raised singer-songwriter Cody Lovaas has discovered a voice and pure direction that make it hard to believe he's not even old enough to legally drive a car. His preferred means of travel is a surfboard, which carries him through crystalline days along the Pacific Coast. Influenced by artists such as Amos Lee and Jack Johnson, the 14-year-old Lovaas seamlessly combines his love for music and surf into fluid blues-imbued acoustic machinations. Also a skilled ukulele player, Lovaas is beginning to carve out the early stages of a signature sound.

Antonia Duggan:

Born, Antonia Duggan, November 30th 1995 in Liverpool, England. Since becoming a US citizen, Antonia now resides in Carlsbad, California. After performing on stage for the first time at 6, she realized that performing was meant for her. Being involved in Christian Youth Theatre really helped Antonia's confidence on stage as well as shaped her as a performer. Her first non-theatre performance, held at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, was as the supporting act for "The English Beat."
She has also performed at Qualcomm Stadium as well as the San Diego Fair and the Orange County Fair. Antonia is a self-taught guitar player and has played since 2009. From the minute she picked up a guitar she knew she not only wanted to sing but also song write. Antonia wrote her first song, "Come and Find Me," during her Freshman year of high school. She wrote her next original, "I Love You," shortly after.
Antonia's musical inspirations are Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse, Taylor Swift, and Her Granddad Joe back in England, who has sang Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby to Antonia since she was born. Antonia knows that her place in life is center stage.
