A Ceremony of Carols
An evening of music that touches the heart and the mind. We all know the pull that familiar carols have on our hearts! Our choir is taking that one step further, with the addition of a counter tenor soloist and the magical sounds of a harp. Benjamin Britten's iconic work for Christmas was originally composed for all treble voices - we will be bringing you the mixed voice setting, which feels so different and so satisfying. Add to that the lush, Post-Romantic offerings from Gustav Holst and Anton Bruckner, and you have the makings of something wondrous.
