Raw Wine Party!
The RAW Wine Fair brings over 100 natural winemakers to New York City from around the world, and we're hosting a small get-together right before it begins so you can try some amazing and rare natural wines. This opportunity just fell in our laps and we want to share it with you.
These wines are made the old fashioned way, so they're going to have flavors and terroir unlike anything you've ever tasted before.
We'll have two amazing female winemakers with us to talk about their wines.
First, there's Meli Ligas from Domaine Ligas bringing some intense natural Greek wines grown on the slopes of Paiko Mountain in northern Greece. Domaine Ligas uses as little human intervention in their winemaking as possible.
Then we'll have Athénaïs Béru from Domaine Béru, who produces some of the world's most elegant, complex wines on her family's estate in Chablis, France. With horse-plowed fields, and ancient vines, Domaine Béru's production is mircoscopic, so it's very, very hard to come by her wines. This is a unique chance to try them and meet their maker.
We're pouring wine until we run out, and serving passed appetizers so you don't keel over.
Tickets are $50/person (includes tip but not tax) and that entitles you to all the food and wine you can handle.
