Franz Joseph Haydn's inspired oratorio Die Schöpfung (The Creation) premiered in 1798 to adoring reviews, praising the composers dark and dissonant evocation of Chaos, giving way to soaring harmony at the moment of Creation: And There Was Light!
Our Music Director Ira Spaulding will be conducting the chorus, professional soloists and orchestra at two matinee performances that we hope will inspire you through Haydn's life-affirming music.
