Dandylyon Drama and Syre Elementary School are proud to present Lasso the Moon, American Legends, Tall Tales, and Fish Stories.
Lyrics and book by Meloni Lyons, music by Robinski Jones.
The Moon takes us on a coast to coast journey of the United States introducing us to larger than life stories that are part of the rich cultural diversity of America. The Tall Tales told are a mix of familiar and lesser-known with a refreshing balance of strong female heroes and male role models. Bess Call, Paul Bunyan, Martina Cucarachita, John Henry, Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind and Johnny Appleseed.
