Making Your Voice Come to Life : InsideOutside Voice
Lovers of poetry who desire to learn more about the craft of spoken word and gain confidence in your own words; this is the workshop for you. Inspiration through image-prompts, discussion, observation, in-class writing and readings we will play with ideas and everything will turn to poetry. You will begin to write immediately and the space will open for you to tell your own story, express your own dreams and visions.
Then, in the second half of the workshop, we will explore the possibilities of presentation; with voice variation, nuance, rhythm, tempo and sound. Trust will create space for originality and discovery. All levels of presentation will flourish and grow as the clarity of communication and expression is realized individuality of voice is essential to originality. This workshop will give you the confidence to share your words with honesty, energy and integrity.
