Allan J. Lichtman, Distinguished Professor of History at American University, gained widespread recognition last year for his early, controversial, and correct prediction that Donald Trump would win the 2016 presidential election. Now he is a arguing that President Trump has already committed enough transgressions to justify an impeachment investigation, a case he makes in his acclaimed book The Case for Impeachment.
