GROWN FOLKS III
House Slam Boston in partnership with Books of Hope, Mass LEAP and If You Feel It, You Can Speak It Mic Movement, are proud to invite you to the third installment of GROWN FOLKS, a 21 plus spoken word poetry show that aims to raise money and awareness for the Boston Youth Spoken Word Leaders Program, not in it's second year.
Mentors from all 4 organizations have been working together to invest in the next generation of arts leaders in our community. We pay, workshop, train and support 5 amazing teens, who are managing their own open mic and workshop series in Boston's South End.
Spoken word artists from all orgs will be performing this night. There'll be DJ music, refreshments and more!
