Introduction to NC Innovations Waiver
Innovations Waiver help Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) live a more independent lifestyle.
The focus of this presentation is to provide participants with an overview of intellectual/developmental disabilities, including information about how to access community resources, types of service, and funding streams that might be available in the community. Discussion will cover the myths and realities of individuals with IDD to better equip families and stakeholders who are assisting these individuals.
