2017 San Francisco Wage and Benefit Laws: For Nonprofits with City Contracts

This workshop is co-sponsored by the San Francisco Human Services Network (HSN) and the San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE).
The purpose of the workshop is to help San Francisco nonprofits understand their responsibilities to comply with wage, healthcare, paid time off and other requirements. The content will be of interest to nonprofit Executive Directors and Human Resource Directors.
Presenters will provide an overview of current wage, health and benefit mandates for nonprofits with city contracts.
The event will include presenters from the San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement, Department of Public Health, and Human Rights Commission. We will also feature a best practices panel with nonprofit Human Resources Directors.
During the 3-hour workshop, OLSE representatives will be available in the lobby for individual technical assistance consultations.

Minimum wage Minimum Compensation Ordinance (wages and paid time off) Prevailing wage Paid sick leave Paid parental leave Healthcare Accountability Ordinance and minimum standards Healthcare Security Ordinance Affordable Care Act Consideration of Salary History Equal Pay Ordinance Fair Chance Ordinance / Ban the Box Family Friendly Workplace Ordinance Lactation in the Workplace
The event takes place at the S.F. Main Library, 100 Larkin St. (x-Grove), Koret Auditorium (lower level). Enter at 30 Grove St. and proceed downstairs. PLEASE: No food or beverages allowed.
