ART OF SOUND: BERNSTEIN AT 100
The Choral Project joins the worldwide centennial celebration of Leonard Bernstein. Featuring Bernstein's famous "Chichester Psalms," with organ, harp and percussion. World renowned musicians -- organist Angela Kraft Cross and harpist Dan Levitan -- join boy soprano Nick McKee (Ragazzi Boys Chorus) in a musical program that features some of Bernsein's best music, from the concert hall to the musical theater stage. In addition to Bernstein's thrilling "Chichester Psalms, selections include choral music from Lillian Hellman's play "The Lark," a sublime arrangement of 'Somewhere' from "West Side Story," and several solo/chorus selections from "Candide."
