Burlesque! And All That Jazz by Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx
Learn essential burlesque techniques and sultry show stopping choreography with Burlesque Bombshell Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx. This workshop incorporates classic dance technique and jazz based moves to create a dynamic striptease routine for stage or for someone special. This workshop is open to all experience levels and although heavily dance based requires no previous dance experience.
Participants will need a pair of medium height heels and close fitting dance or athletic attire.
Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx is an Award Winning International Burlesque Artist from The Lone Star State. This Texas native puts the B in Bombshell! Her diverse shows range from 1950's Las Vegas and old Hollywood glamour to 60's sci-fi and 70's glitz. She started her career in 2008 and has been blowing audiences away with her alluring stage presence and fiery dance moves. Honey is no stranger to the spotlight with 15+ years of dance experience under her belt ranging from tap and jazz to middle eastern dance. She is also a remarkable chanteuse with a scintillating repertoire of jazz standards.
Honey has had the pleasure of performing alongside the biggest names in Burlesque and Entertainment. She has opened for the Cherry Poppin' Daddies and also had the pleasure of performing for the Prince of Saudi Arabia. Honey has an array of accolades under her belt, named one of the top five performers in Texas for 2011, and winning "Most Classic" at the 2011 Southern Fried Burlesque Festival in Atlanta. Chosen from over 400 performers worldwide, she traveled to London where she competed for the 2012 World Female Crown of Burlesque.
Honey Cocoa is an established Burlesque instructor and the choreographer and director of The Viva Dallas Burlesque Showgirls. She also produces local events with her company Creole Bombshell Productions. She has graced the pages of several publications, books, and calendars. Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx is a voodoo vixen with killer curves and a saucy shimmy. Sure to leave audiences entranced. She'll make your troubles disappear with just a shimmy and a smile.
