Time Out New York recently named Recess Monkey the #3 Kindie band in America, just behind the iconic They Might Be Giants. Known for their contagiously exciting live shows, Recess Monkey strives to strike a balance between kid-centric ideas and musical authenticity. Lyrically, they weave jokes and puns together with universal childhood themes, speaking to both kids and their parents simultaneously with catchy, melodic songs.
Kindiependent is a group of rockin' Seattle musicians who are passionate about creating a vibrant kids' and family music scene in the Pacific Northwest. All winter long the best Seattle kids' bands perform on Saturday mornings at the Mount Baker Community Clubhouse.
