Despite being creative people as artists, we are generally quite un-creative when it comes to crowdfunding. Other workshops may teach you the practical points and best practices of how to build a crowdfunding campaign (well cover it), but we really want to talk about the creative ways you can use your crowdfunding campaign to do more than just raise money: how can you use this opportunity to support your publicity plan, audience development, project research, etc? After a brief intro the principles of the practice, well dig deeper as a group to brainstorm creative strategies that can make your crowdfunding campaigns multi-purpose and get more bang for your crowdfunding bucks!
