LAPC Theatre presents Mary Zimmerman's versiion of the classic tales. The production, which will run on the Performing Arts Mainstage at LAPC Theatre, opens on December 1 and runs through December 9, 2017.
To save her life, a beautiful bride must spin hypnotic tales of genies, jesters, thieves and kingswinning her freedom by eventually winning her husbands heart. This poetically stylish and elegant theatrical work enchants the audience amid a thousand tales of honor, revenge and humor, where only love emerges victorious. The San Francisco Chronicle says the play transports the audience through hilarious and poignant tales of greed, sex and revenge, each tale opening into another and another, to a lingering, redemptive and provocative end.
