Politics and Prose Presents JOHN GRISHAM
For the three third-year law students at the center of John Grisham's taut legal thriller, set in DC, the most important lesson they learn is one that's not on any class syllabus. They call it The Great Law School Scam, and it comes too late to save them from the crushing student debt they've incurred to attend a for-profit university so focused on its bottom line that it fails to prepare its students for the bar exam. Though they don't yet have their degrees, the trio has caught on to a few tricks of their trade, and they soon devise a plan that will expose the shady financial dealings of their school, free them of debt, and maybe even allow them to realize their original dreams of changing the world for the better
