SFAI FT. MASON, PIER 2 - TOUR & TALK
William Leddy, FAIA, and Marsha Maytum, FAIA, are founding Principals of Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, recipient of the 2017 National AIA Firm Award. They will discuss their recently completed rehabilitation of Fort Mason Pier 2 for the San Francisco Art Institute as well as their firms mission driven projects that advance the integration of environmental sustainability and design excellence, support social equity and make positive contributions to their community. They believe in the transformative power of architecture to reach beyond the property lines to help address challenges in our communities affordable housing, innovative education, aging with dignity, homelessness, disability rights, and climate change.
