Redd Legg Dance 2nd Annual Spring Concert
Local modern dance company, Redd Legg Dance will present its 2nd Annual Spring Concert, May 30 and 31, 2008. The performance can be seen 8 pm at Velocity MainSpace Theater. Velocity is located at 915 East Pine St., Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98122.
Redd Legg Dance, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit modern dance company, was formed by choreographer Kristen Legg in 2005. Redd Legg Dance is dedicated to keeping technique and performance quality alive in concert dance.
Legg has choreographed seven works for this performance. Of notice is the re-staging of Legg's signature work "Beauty - budding but not bloomed." This quirky piece depicts the awkward stage all girls go through during adolescence. The Kalamazoo Gazette said of this work, "Madonna - eat your heart out!"
