Last summer, a few of us realized how many parents at Académie Lafayette are musicians and thought, "Hey kids, let's put on a show!" And thus, 'Vive the Rock' was born.
Friday, February 8, 2013, four parent bands will rock Record Bar to raise money for the Académie Lafayette general fund which supports activities such as music and art education, free tutoring, interns, etc.
On the bill: Federation of Horsepower, The Hillary Watts Riot, The Sexy Accident, and The Quivers
Emcee of the event will be Mr. Cody Wyoming.
Doors will open at 9:00, show starts at 9:30.
We will also be selling event shirts and tickets for fabulous raffle prizes. All proceeds go to AL.
