"Q"uisine of Hearts
A lovely Valentine's brunch hosted by the Hilton Waikoloa Village on Sunday, February 10, 2013, from 11:30-2:30. Pastry chefs, bakers, chocolatiers, and ice cream makers will present their miniature desserts.  The culinary students from Hawaii Community College West Hawaii will prepare a savory bruschetta buffet and delectable omelet and Eggs Benedict stations.  Local purveyors will serve champaign, wine, handcrafted ales, 100% Kona Coffee, and tropical teas.  A silent auction with chef's menus, Valentines cakes and beautiful floral arrangements add to the festivities.  This event is a benefit fundraiser of the American Culinary Federation Kona Kohala Chefs Association.  The proceeds provide nutrition education to 1000 children in the Kona & Kohala areas through the Chef and The Child Foundation Program and continuing education scholarships for students at Hawaii Community College, West Hawaii.
