Understood Showing
Join Trademark Theater for a work-in-progress showing of Understood, a new play that that examines the difficulty and importance of communication between people who see the world in different ways. Two actors play four characters in this drama featuring a wife and a husband lost in their relationship. Struggling to communicate, they begin to connect with near-strangers who hold vastly different views of a complex world.

WHAT IS A WORK-IN-PROGRESS SHOWING?
It is a chance for us to share the ideas and concepts that are being explored in the creation of Understood. Unlike what you might be used to seeing in a traditional staged reading, this showing will not feature a read-through of the script from beginning to end. Instead we are looking to get our audiences in on the ground floor of our creation process by sharing the ideas in a more raw form. That way your feedback can help to shape this piece from the very beginning!
