Number One
Canadian Premiere
Aziz Saadallah plays Aziz Number One, the macho Moroccan owner of a clothing factory who refuses to bend to the moudawana -- the family code enacted in 2004 that gave rights to women and children -- and routinely terrorizes his 50 employees, never mind his wife (Nezha Rahile). That is, until she glimpses the gentleman within Aziz during a meeting with a foreign customer. So, she decides to curse her husband, forcing him to become a feminist in spite of himself.
