Jazz and Pop Singalong!
For all of you who have loved our A Cappella Jazz & Pop concerts - going strong for 36 years! - this year is your chance to feel the thrill of singing these wonderful arrangements yourselves. We've decided to devote our singalong this year to a few nuggets from the J&P vault. If you've been humming along all these years, this is your chance to go legit! Or just come to find out what the fuss it about! It will be held at a new venue, The Backroom, a few steps away from the UC Theater in downtown Berkeley and a couple of blocks from BART.
Past singalongs have explored African American spirituals and the music of Cuba. All ages and singing abilities are welcome. A free reception follows the workshop.
