Guitarist Charlie Hunter has been dubbed a remarkably deep musician by JazzTimes Magazine and is a master of the seven-string guitar and champion of spunky improvisation. Gaining notoriety as the leader of the Charlie Hunter Trio, which rose to prominence in the jam band scene of the nineties, Hunter has always brought playful and experimental improvisation to the forefront of his groups. The Trio's current lineup includes tenor saxophonist Rob Dixon and drummer Carter McLean.
