Bassist Christian McBride is one the premiere figures in contemporary jazz. He is without peer one his instrument and has collaborated with seemingly every luminary in jazz, as well as artists such as Billy Joel and Sting. Hes known for what The New York Times describes as throwback feel-good vibes, leads a number renowned ensembles, hosts NPRs Jazz Night In America and has five Grammys to his name. His new trio, Tip City, features rising star pianist Emmet Cohen and guitar virtuoso Dan Wilson.
