Intro to Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements

Come and learn about the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We'll cover the organ systems in an introductory way; because this is a field of life long study, and we'll go over 5 Elements theory with handouts. Learn about some of the basic plants used in the most common formulas and a list of resources that are useful to study this fascinating and holistic system of harmonizing the health of the body.

TEACHER BIO: Diana Lynn Law is a Pacific NW herbalist and artist with a connection to Nature that has a shamanistic flavor. She loves tending growing things, creativity and Science. Her classes are a combination of Folk Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and science-based study. Empowering people to build their own relationships with plants and create their own well being are integral parts of her classes. She has been practicing Herbalism in the Pacific NW for about 5 years, while continuing to study.
