Join us for a fun and flavorful evening with WFMTs ensemble in residence, the Kaia String Quartet, in a program devoted to the unique, colorful music of Latin America! Performing in the chic new performance venue in downtown Elgin, the quartet will perform music that combines the nuance and blend of the classical string quartet with the spontaneity and passion of the Latin musical world.

RACHEL BARTON PINE A TRIBUTE TO MAUD POWELL

To join musical organizations across the country in celebrating the 150th anniversary of Maud Powell, internationally acclaimed concert violinist Rachel Barton Pine returns to Elgin in a special recital dedicated to the female violin virtuoso. Striking, charismatic, and boundary-defying, Rachels dazzling playing and infectious joy in music making are what have led her to the top echelon of musicians in the world, and her dedication to the legacy of Maud Powell makes her a true leader in her field.

To honor the memory of Elgin composer Daniel Brewbaker, we present his string quartet paired with the music that most inspired Daniel: the lush, romantic music of Johannes Brahms. Experience the world-class artistry of our Chamber Music on the Fox artists and join us in remembering one of Elgins great cultural icons.

Tickets are $30, but pay the "Superfan" price of $55 and receive a special custom-made wine glass with the Chamber Music on the Fox logo on it!
