The Big O after the Big C: Sex after Cancer
This workshop focuses on the often-unaddressed concerns of people struggling with the effects of cancer, its various treatments, and the tolls it can take on peoples sexuality. Whether cancer is directly affecting you or your loved one, Kira Manser, Clinical Director of the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health, is here to help. Topics of discussion will include: re-sexualizing your body, the effects of medication and treatment on sexual functioning, pelvic pain issues, working with your libido to maximize sexual pleasure, tools and tricks to make sex enjoyable and fun again, and resources that can help ease this journey.
