Bainbridge Island Museum of Art host Photographer Megumi Shauna Arai
Please join us for a special, private event with the artist as she creates a durational performance piece. "The risk to stay tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom," is a set of photographs that freezes a fleeting moment and is altered with Sumi ink through audience participation. The combination of the two mediums intersects the artist's exploration of "identity, intimacy, beauty, imperfection and freedom."
