Benny Quash with Jesse Baltes

Benny has as many personalities as he does voices, and not one of them is the voice of reason. He makes the joke sound simple but you will still be thinking about it a hour later. Benny highlights the humor of everyday life, along with the humor of lives you never imagined.

Benny Quash has been wanting to make people laugh since he can remember. Growing up in small town Wisconsin he knew he wanted a chance to get out. Otherwise, the only option was to continue weighing potato trucks at the Ore-ida plant.

He used the false facade that he wanted to be a radio dj, so he enrolled in 'A' 'school' in Minneapolis. After arriving in the Twin Cities, Benny tried his hand at stand-up comedy and has now performed all over the United States and Canada. He has done venues from a hole in the wall bar, to a 50,000 seat stadium (but there were only 800 people there. Who are we kidding?)

Jesse Baltes began his comedy career in 2003 when he became a member of receSs, The George Washington University's oldest sketch and improv comedy group. He first began doing stand-up in 2005, and went on to the finals of the DC Improv's Funniest College Competition two years in a row; placing 2nd in 2005 with his second set ever! He founded the Madhatter Showcase in Washington, DC and the Bargain Basement in Chicago, IL.

Jesse performs from NY to LA and everywhere in between. He has performed at some of the top clubs in the country including: The Improv, Zanies and Comedy Club on State. He has also shared the stage with some of the hottest comics in the country including: Kumail Nanjiani, Donald Glover, Hannibal Buress and TJ Miller.

He makes his home in Chicago where, with his quick wit and likeable stage presence, he has earned a reputation as one of the city's best 'crowd-work' comics. Jesse can be seen perfecting his disarmingly personal and honest anecdotal style at shows throughout the Midwest. Whether he is discussing his latest parking ticket or the loss of his virginity, Jesse is sure to be a crowd favorite.
