Literacyworks Lecture Series: Ted Eliot
We are pleased to announce an afternoon with special guest Ambassador Theodore Ted Eliot Jr. (ret.) served in the American embassy in Moscow in the mid-50s at the height of the Cold War; in the American embassy in Tehran the mid-1960s and for four and one half years as Ambassador to Afghanistan. He then became Inspector General of the State Department. He was named Dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

This timely event for the Literacyworks Center will feature a Center student, community partners and keynote speaker Ted Eliot.
This fundraiser will support low literacy, low income, highly motivated adults in the North Bay to access community college and technical education programs by providing scholarships, advising and support.
General Admission: $25. Seniors: $20. Free for students.
