Treasure Valley Wine Society September Tasting
G'Day Mates! Please join us for September's tasting event and start the Fall season with a tasting of Australian wines from their Southern regions. You will have the opportunity to taste wines you may have not tasted before. There are other wines besides Yellow Tail & Little Penguin hailing from Down Under!
Did you know some of the world's oldest living vines are found in Australia's Barossa region? Join us to find out more interesting and fun facts about Australian wine. Bring two glasses as we plan at one point to have a taste comparison of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from two different regions. Let's see if we can tell differences between the regions and their individual characteristics.
Reserve your seats today for this special tasting presented by Gail McClellan Parker and Doryne Wendel. In addition, Chef Richard & his staff will prepare Aussie style prawn cocktail, pea salad with water chestnuts, beef meat pie with pastry crust, mashed potatoes, zucchini, and for dessert, Lamington cake.
Reserved tickets are available for $25 to members & first time guests. Returning guests must pay membership dues to continue enjoying the reserved price. Reservations must be made by end of day September 6. Cheers!
