The Authenticity Experiment: Portland Launch
Social media has exploded since 45 came into office. Not that we werent a nation of addicts beforein 2016, 79% of all Americans regularly used Facebook and 67 million people used Twitter each day. But now, late night tweets about covfefe and complaints about #fakenews seem common.
Thats why Kate Carroll de Gutes new book, "The Authenticity Experiment: Lessons from The Best and Worst Year of My Life," is so relevant as it focuses on her attempt to be completely authentic on social media. The book rings with what author Sallie Tisdale calls funny, hard, sad, sweet, tough, confusing, tender and sharp truth.
An evening of laughing, crying, and--maybe, just maybe--feeling a little less lonely in the world. Of course, there's also the free swag and some great live music, and its all free and open to the public.
You know you want to hear this, so just come on.
