Willow basketry class taught over 6 evenings at the friendly 'Tribe Porty' co-working space in Portobello, led by professional Portobello based basketweaver Anna Liebmann.
Students will be taught the tradtional 'stake and strand' method of basketry, starting with bases, leading on to staking up, waling, randing and borders.
Students will be able to complete between one and four pieces of work depending on size and ability to work between classes.
There will be a small extra charge for materials used during the classes for each student, payable at the end of term.
Suitable for beginners and improvers.
Concession places may become available if enough people book on at the normal rate, so if this is something that would help you attend, please get on touch.
