Eighty minutes before the heat death of the universe, Lucifer finally makes his confession to Roy (a robot), the last living human being. What begins as a straightforward interrogation becomes a struggle in which each character displays infinite patience and access to all human knowledge. As time and Roy wind down, Lucifer's efforts to evade his interrogator's understanding fail. Humanity and its arch-nemesis are forced in the very, very end to confront who or what the human really is.
