Bitter to Sweet: An Introduction to Asian Greens
Learn how to identify and cook the wide array of greens available in Asian markets. From the brash, sprawling Brassica family to the rarer leaves of fenugreek, drumstick, bitter melon or sweet potato plants, we'll cover the basics of selecting, storing and cooking. Easy recipes for weekday meals will showcase the complex flavors of the diverse greens while preserving their dense nutrient content.
Please bring your favorite knife and, if desired, an apron. Vegetarian alternatives are available with advance notice.
