Frank Theatre's REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN by Alice Birch
A sensation when it was staged last season at Soho Rep in NYC, REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN. is described as a short, sharp shock of a play, from Britains sassiest young feminist playwright. Beginning with the directive This play should not be well-behaved, REVOLT explores the ways in which language, attitude and behaviors have acted to confine womens roles, sexuality and the ways we function in the world. It is a call-to-arms to examine how women are contained in the world by forces that we almost fail to recognize. Directed by Frank Artistic Director Wendy Knox.
