Marigny Opera Ballet - Book of Saints
The Book of Saints is a two-act contemporary ballet based on the lives of St. Teresa of Avila, St. Sebastian and St. Francis of Assisi. The 11 dancers of New Orleans' resident ballet company perform the choreography by Teresa Fellion (of BodyStories, New York City) to the original score by New Orleans composer Tucker Fuller. Conductor Francis Scully leads the New Resonance Chamber Orchestra and the 12-singer vocal ensemble Krewe de Voix (Paul Weber, Director).
