Historic Berwyn's Bungalow Tour
The Berwyn Historical Society announces the 11th annual Historic Berwyn's Bungalow Tour, "Bungalows and More," to be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017, from 12 noon until 5 pm.
Berwyn, a hidden gem of a town, is located just 9 miles southwest of Chicago's Loop and boasts one of the largest concentrations of Chicago-style bungalow houses in the U.S.
Tour goers will see how older houses have been preserved and adapted for modern living.
This year's tour will showcase homes and historical sites in the Berwyn Gardens neighborhood. The homes are in close proximity so that guests will not have to drive between home sites. We are also adding historical points of interest on the walk and look forward to sharing more of Berwyn's history..
All proceeds benefit the Berwyn Historical Society, NFP.
