Venice Oldies Dance
The Venice Oldies Dance, is three hours of dancing to live music on one of SWFL's biggest dance floors and it's hosted by singer, Kim Jenkins. Average attendance is over three hundred.
The dance is held once a month from November to April and it's located downtown at the Venice Community Center. A different opening act is featured each month and showcases some of the area's most popular singers and vocal groups. Seating is by advanced reservation at round covered tables of eight. Tickets are $17.00.
No food or beverages are sold. This is a bring your own event!
Coolers are welcome! Ice is provided and there is plenty of off street free parking.
This fun social event is open to all residents, tourists and visitors that love to dance! Entering it's 10th season, this dance continues to be a gathering place for a generation that grew up dancing to Rock & Roll, R&B, Motown and Doo-Wop music!
